An epidemiological survey was made toward 60 cases in Bu-an area from Sept. 4 to Sept. 26, 1969 and the following conclusion were obtained.

3. The fatality rates were 4.1% among the patients treated at health Center and 83.3% among the patients without treatment.
4. Regarding incubation period (from food intake to onset), it was found that "within 24 hours" was 70.0%.
5. Patients occurred mainly in the area along to coast, and lower onset rate was observed as the distances from sea were far.
6. Secondary attacks in families were very few; out of 56 families, in families 2 cases occurred.
