Abstract


Adult mongrel dog of either sex weighing 1014kg were anesthetized with pentob~irbital sodium, and hydrated with 0.9% saline solution, and then furosemide or ethacrynic acia¢¥. was nfused through the left renal artery withivarious dose, and right and left side of urine were collected through the polyethylene tubes inserted in both ureters.
The change of urine volume was as follows.
1. Furosemide: with 0.5~cg/kg/min. the urinary volume of the both kidney was not increased, brit with l~cg, 2r~g, and 5~cg/kg/min, the urinary volume of the left kidney was increased significantly. with 10~g/kg/min, the urinary volume of the both kidney was increased markedly, especially in the left kidey.
2. Ethacrynic acid: with l,ug/kg/mjn, the urinary volume of the both kidney was not increased so markedly, but 2~g/5~Cg/min, it was increased significantly in the left kidney. with l0ug/kg/min, The urinary volume of the both kidney was increased markedly, especially in the left kidney.
