Abstract


The purpose of this experiment was to compare the nuclear volume of endomettrial cancer and endornetrial hyperplasia. Each two specimens which were hitologically typical endometrial hyperplasia endometrial cancer, proliferative and secretry phase of endometrium as control were selected and stained by Feulgen staining.
At first, the longest and shortest diameter of each cell were measured with the "Zeiss Winkel,s Zeichen Apparatus," attached to microscope, then their nuclear volumes were calculated by Matthias, Lange & Herd¢¥s formula,
The nuclear volume of endometrial hyperplasia was 193, 8u3: endometrial cancer, 180,64 u3: proliferative phase of endometrium, 88,69 u3: secretory phase of endometrium, 61,14 u^3.
