Abstract

1. Lynphocytes were isolated from the blood of normal healthy person and of goiter(simple diffuse goiter and simple adenomatous goiter) patients by a new technique introduced by Kim et al.", obtaining highly viable lymphocytes of 96% purity with the. dextran-celluloso diacetate system.
2. With this technique, the yields of lymphocytes from the normal and goiter. patient bloods were different, the former being a little higher(82¡¾3%) and¢¥ the latter lower(72%), which indicates that the future study on lymphocytes from the goiter patient requires a modification of the original method of" isolating the Iymphocytes.
