Abstract

Purpose: 본 연구는 발레 바와 탄성밴드의 복합운동이 중년여성의 신체구성, 체력, 자세교정에 미치는 영향에 대하여 알아보고자 하였다.

Methods: 발레경험이 없는 중년여성 28명을 무선표집하여 운동군 14명, 통제군 14명으로 배치하였다. 12주간, 주 2회, 1회 50분씩 운동군에게 발레 바와 탄성밴드의 복합운동을 실시하고 통제군은 무처치하였다. 운동군과 통제군의 신체구성, 체력, 자세각도를 사전과 사후로 측정하여 집단 내 사전?사후 비교분석은 대응표본 t-검정을 이용하고 집단 간 사전?사후 비교분석은 반복 이원변량분석을 사용하였다.

Result: 신체조성은 BMI (p<.05), 체지방률 (p<.001), 근육량 (p<.001)에서 그룹과 시기간에 상호작용의 유의한 차이가 나타났고, 체력은 순발력 (p<.001), 근지구력 (p<.001), 근력 (p<.001)에서 유의하게 증가하였으며, 자세교정은 머리 (p<.001), 어깨 (p<.001), 경추기울기 (p<.001), 좌?우 골반경사 (p<.001), 전?후 골반경사 (p<.001)에서 각도가 모두 유의하게 감소하였다.

Conclusion: 발레 바와 탄성밴드의 복합운동은 중년여성에게 신체구성, 체력, 자세교정에 긍정적인 효과가 있음을 확인할 수 있었다.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of a combined exercise program using a ballet bar and elastic bands on the body composition, physical strength, and postural correction of middle-aged women.

Methods: The subjects were 28 middle-aged women with no ballet experience. They were divided into an experimental group (n = 14; exercise group) and a control group (n = 14; non-exercise group) through random sampling. The experimental group underwent an exercise program using a ballet bar and elastic bands for 50 minutes twice a week for 12 weeks, whereas the control group performed no exercise. The subjects in both group had their body composition, physical fitness, and postural angles measured before and after the intervention. A paired t-test was used to compare pre- and post-test values within each group, and a two-way repeated measures ANOVA was employed to compare pre- and post-test changes between the two groups.

Results: Regarding body composition, statistically significant differences in BMI (p<.05), body fat percentage (p<.001), and muscle mass (p<.001) were observed between the two groups before and after the intervention. For physical fitness, the experimental group showed statistically significant increases in quick reflexes (p<.001), muscle endurance (p<.001), and muscle strength (p<.001). For postural correction, the experimental group exhibited statistically significant decreases in all variables: the head (p<.001), shoulder (p<.001), cervical tilt (p<.001), right-left pelvic tilt (p<.001), and anterior-posterior pelvic tilt (p<.001).

Conclusion: A combined exercise program using a ballet bar and elastic bands had positive effects on the body composition, physical fitness, and postural correction of midde-aged women.
