Abstract


The author carried out studies on the disappearance rates and routs of intravenously injected LDH and transminases in dogs wich were extracted heart and liver tissue of dog.
The results obtained are summarized as follows:
1). LDH disappeared rapidly from the blood stream, and 8-9 hours after the injection, usually none of the injected enzymatic activity remained. A much slower elimination was the rule for transaminases. Here the enzymatic activity did not return to control levels until 10 days after the injection.
2) To find out disappearance routes of the injected LDH which was rapidly eliminated from the blood stream, the author made a study on the disappearance routes on the other group in which the RES was blocked by the injection of Indian Black. However, no significant difference was observed comparing to the control group.
Neither in urine nor in bile the enzyme, LDH, was detected in both loaded group as well as in normal group. It means that the enzymes is not excreted through urine and bile at least in active form.
To evaluate the effect of the blood cell itself on the LDH, an observation was made on the change in activity of the enzyme in vitro, keeping the blood and the enzyme mixture in 37℃, and no significant change was observed.
