Abstract


Investigations were carried out on the effect of constant magnetic field on the cell cycle and duration of its phases. The effects of magnetic field on mouse embryo during first 17 days of .gestation were eaamired in the duodenal crypt -cell by means cf autoradiography. The decresed labelling and mitotic indices were observed. T¢¥he S phase was slightly lengt¢¥,encd in experimental an?:pals. Remarkable lengthening of Gi phase was erc~untered in experi ,:entai animals resultinJ :iie lengthening of gencration time.
A new apprcach and the validity of the effects of magnetic field on biological systems were discussced.
