Abstract
We have had surgical experiences of 3 cases of the cerebral A-V. malformations on the dominant cerebral hemisphere.
One of them was deep seated. huge A-V. malformation derived from the left middle and posterior cerebral artery. All feeding arteries confirmed on the arteriograms were ligated with clips at the adja-cent of the lesion. We confirmed the A-V. malformation was disappeared on the postoperative angiograms.
Two, one on the surface of the motor cortex and one on the motor subcortical. region associated with hematoma derived from the left middle and anterior cerebral artery were totally excised.
Careful surgical excision for the two cases of the A-V. malformation developed on the dominant cerebral hemisphere was most effective one.
