Abstract
Many methods have beer reported on the biological charzterization of Enterobacteriaceae, but none of them was perfec~l~r satisfactory. This study is conducted to develope a method which is easily and conveniently applicable in this country for the identification of lactose negative strains. This method starts frcr~ t:~e test in Kligler iron agar, and *.hen 11 tests were incorporated. The Beare H2S production, motilit;¢¥, , u-ease, sorbitol, malonate, sucrose, salicin, lysine and ornithine decarboxylase, indol and citrate. With this methods, various enteric bacteria were easily identified.
