Abstract


The author made an experimental study on the cellulose acetatc microzone electroporesis(Helena electrophoresis system) with Korean adlut, new-born umbilical cord an fetal hemoglobin and two standard Hemo-controls(A, FSC and A, SA?).
Hemo-control revealed clear cut seperation of each fraction of A₁,F,S, and C(A₂) according to their migration rates, but Hb A₂and Hb C showed mutual identical migration rates.
The main fraction of Hb A₁and the minor fraction of Hb A₂ in adult hcmoglobin. Hb F and Hb A₁in new-born umbilical cord hemoglobin and Hb F only in fetal hemoglobin were cleary seperated.
In adult the mean Hb A₂value was 2.7±0.6S.D.% and its absolute level was 369±100㎖ whole blood.
