Abstract
The purpose of this study was to investigate the change of the activity of creatine phosphokinase (EC 2.7.3.2), glutamic oxaloacetic transaminase (EC 2.6.1.1) and glutamic pyruvic transaminase (EC 2.6.1.2) of serum and thoracic duct Iymph in dogs induced hemorragic shock with t:he blood pressure maintai~Ied at 60mmHg. for 4 hour:.
The serum and thoracic duct lymph creatine phosphokinase activities were found similazIy increased in both sham (6 animals) and hemorragic shock (8 animals) induced groups following hemorrage. But the increased level was less significant in sham operation dogs.
The activities of serum and thoracic duct lymph transaminase were significantly increased at 3 hours to 4 hours posthemorrage and no significant changes were noted in sham operation animals.
