Abstract
The Sa-Mool-Tang is herb medicine which has been used as a hemopoiesis for a long time in Orient Medicine. The object of this work was to investigate the effect of administration Sa-Mool-Tang on erythrocyte count of the anemic dogs.
The experimental animals were dogs weighting about 12kg. In experimental method they devided to No. 1, 2, and No. 3.
The Erythrocyte was checked on anemic dogs and once in a day.
The administration of Sa-Mool-Tang is three times in a day. The results obtained in this work were summerized as follows:
1. Sa-Mool-Tang was increased to erythrocyte values about five days on the anemic dogs blood.
2. Administration of Sa-Mool-Tang was increased rate from 8. 8% to 15. 6% on the anemic dogs blood.
Therefore, the experimental results that administration of Sa-Mool-Tang in Anemic dogs, was higher recovery than control dog.
