Abstract
To study the effect of halothane anesthesia on the white blood corpuscles, cosinophile leukocyte, SGOT, SGPT and urobilinogen, measurement was performed on 1st day before halothane anesthesia and 1st day, 3rd day and 7th day after halothane anesthesia.
1) No significant difference of SGOP and SGPT could be found between pre-and postoperative periods.
2) Urobilinogen showed little change before and after operation.
3) W.B.C. count showed increase (42%) at the 1st postoperative day and returned to the preoperative value at the day after operation.
4) Decrease of eosinophile leukocyte count was about 72% on the 1st postoperative day and it approched the preoperative level at the 7th day after operation.
