Abstract
Anesthesiologists are frequently encountered an arrhythmia preoperatively and for during anesthesia. Sometimes, ventricular arrhythmia may threaten the patient condition to be fatal.
Therefore cardioversion is very important to save the patient life.
Treatment of an arrhythmia are removal of the causative factor, administration of the antiarrhythmic drug and electric cardioversion.
We had experienced 10 cases of ventricular premature contraction preoperatively.
Intravenous lidocaine 1∼2㎎/㎏ was given during anesthesia to obtain the antiarrhythmic effect. An arrhythmia which ventricular premature contraction was disappeared by intravenous lidocaine.
