Abstract
The stochastic analysis was carried out to the hourly time series observed at Duk To in -order to see water quality variations of the Han. River. As a result of auto correlation and spectral density analysis, it .was found that 1) the period in the time series existed as dominant 2A-hours, 2) the most important factor affecting the dissolve oxygen concentration was green algae and 1st order Markov model was adequate to describe the dissolved oxygen _hourly time series.
