Abstract


The principle objective of this study was to evaluate the effect of the nutrition education through the slide "Nutrition and. Health" developed by the Korean National Red Cross; and to compare the results to those of previous-investigations.
The results ate summarized as follows;
1. The degree of interest. Regardless of age, ?education and economic levels," 92.4% of the subjects were interested to watch the slide. -
2. Comprehensiveness, Easiness and hardness: all of the subjects could understand the content of slide. 86.8% of the subjects could understand the content of slide through the picture, but 14.2% of the subjects could understand only after they were explained on the content of picture. And 76.5% of the´ subjects said that there were not difficult words.
Regardless of age, education, and economic levels, about 80% of the subjects responded that the level of the slide, content and about one hour of running time were proper to them.
3.. Effectiveness. 81.6% of the subjects said that their interests in nutrition and health education were increased after watching the slide. Most of the subjects (98.7%) wished to have mote chances of nutrition-.education through this kind of slide.
Therefore, among the nutrition education medium, nutrition education through the slide is recommendable.
