Abstract
A case of common penoneal nerve palsy after vaginal hysterectomy is reported. When the common peroneal nerve is involved, the ability to dorsiflex the foot and toes and to evert the foot is lost. Sensory loss is found on the lateral aspect of the lower leg, foot and toes except the lateral side of the little toe. And the literatures of the common peroneal nerve palsy are reviewed. The.badl adjusted leg stirrup and external compression is,´ thought . to be the :cause of . the complication.
