Abstract

Von Recklinghausen¢¥s disease, first described by Fistly and Smith in 1849, which is characterized by the abnormal cutaneous pigmentation and skin tumors.
Their concomittant occurrence with pheochromocytoma, ganglioneuroma, neuroblastoma, medulloblastoma etc. have been reported in many cases.
But so little experience has been recorded pertaining to malignant astrocytoma associated with von Recklinghausen¢¥s disease That the following case report is thought worthy of presentation in order that further aspects of this unusual problem may¢¥ be the general attention.
