Abstract
A statistical investigation was carried out on the cases of atresia of the naso-lacrimal ducts of children over the-past three years.
1. 17 cases of the disease were picked up out of 157 patients (10.8%)
2. This disease was observed in almost equal frequency in either eye and appeared in almost equal frequency in male and female children.
3. Most cases of atresia were thought to be inherent. In the other cases it was observed after conjunctivitis.
