Abstract
Outstanding reports on the findings of the finer structures of every ocular tissue by the electron microscope with transmission, scanning, replica, and other measures are reviewed.
Among them, description on the retinal tissue is detailed in part.
An application of the electron microscopy to the histopathological diagnosis is a newly developed field with amazing results and some features on the ophthalmic pathology are briefly intrdouced.
