Abstract
A case of hereditary spherocytosis in an 8 year-old Korean boy. was presented. Diagnofis was based on hemolytic anemia, splenomegnly, spherocytes in peripheral blood and marktedly increased osmotic fragility. Splenetomy resulted in crinical cure. Review of pertinent liteatures was made briefly
