Interval of symptomless period in patients with its sequelae after onset of acute CO poisoning was predominantly between 21 and 30 days, and none within 10 days or over 50 days.
3) In neurological examination, the most prominent signs were abnormality of D.T.R. and spasticity of the extremities in acute CO poisoning. and "cog-wheel" rigidity and tremor in Parkinsonism cases.
4) Prognosis in 65 patients acute CO poisoning was good in 60 (92%), and poor in 5 (8%); three of them were discharged hopelessly emergency room and two had bacterial infection secondary to severe burn injury. None in Parkinsonism had good prognosis and two died, one of renal failure and other of unknown origin. In psychosis; 3 patients remained unimproved and the 3 remainders were progressively worsen.
