Abstract

This study was conducted on active and total T. Lymphocyte counts in peripheral blood of normal subjects and lepromatous leprosy- patients, 10 each.
The result showed that the total lymphocyte counts-of the patients were 2, 890¡¾20G per mm¢¥, higher than those of normal subjects 2,173=161 per mm3.
The rates of the active and total T-lymphocytes of the patients were 20% and 39% respectively, while those for normal subjects were 33% and 64 %. Thus, the population of T-lymphocytes of the patients proved to be lower than that of the normal subjects.
