Abstract
The mixed tumors of the salivary glands are found in the major salivary glands, particularly in the parotid glands but are rarely found in other parts of the body.
Recently the authors experienced a case of mixed tumor of the palate in a 32-years-old women.
For 8 years the thumb sized mass had been present at the border of right soft palate and hard palate without particular subjective symptoms.
The tumor mass was removed, perorally.
The size of the tumor was 2.5X2X1.5cm and was confirmed as mixed tumor by pathological examination.
The post operative course was uneventful and there has, been no recurrence during almost 1 year of observation.
