Abstract


A case report on the fracture-dislocation of the humerus has heen made.
The case was 34 year old male who had comminuted fracture of surgical neck of the right humerus with the head fragment was displaced completely between the scapula and subsca.pular muscle. Open reduction and Steimann pin fixation has been made successfully and applied Velpeau bandage for ten days. The Velpeau bandage was replaced with shoulder spica. cast for seven weeks at 11th post-operative day.
The follow-up study after five months of surgery shows good range of shoulder motion.
