Abstract
The purpose of this study is to obtain the anatomic landmarks and to establish the proper technique of management for the orthopantomography in Korean, The results were following:
1. To detect the anatomic landmarks, a dry skull in which gutta-percha and steel wire were attached was used and compared to the result which was obtained with living human-heads.
2. Definite relationship between patient´s head and picture formation was clarified. In addition, method of head fixation, and object image-layer ratio were obtained.
3. Clear finding of maxillary sinus and temporo mandibular articulation was obtained by forward movment of head.
