요약
생후 제1일 병아리 상부소화관 상피세포의 세포환을 비교한 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 얻
었다.
1. 표지지수는 위가 36,5%로서 가장 높았고, 식도가 10.0%로서 가장 낮았다.
2. 분열지수는 식도에서 가장 높았으며 (6.0%), 십이지장으로 갈수록 낮아졌다.
3. 세대길이는 위와 십이지장은 공히 짧았으나 식도에서는 위나 십이지장 보다 훨씬 길어
졌다.
4. DNA 합성기는 식도에서 가장 길었으며 8.2시간, 위는 6.7시간이었고, 십이지장에서는
3.3시간으로 매우 짧았다.
5. 표지지수와 분열지수 사이에는 일정한 관계가 있는 것 같지 않으며 세포분열이 왕성
하더라도 세포활동이 반드시 활발한 것 같지 않다.

-Abstract-
Esophageal, gastric and duodenal epithelial cells of 1 day postnatal chicks were labeled
with 3H-thymidine for the autoradiographic study of DNA synthesis and
cell cycle. After injection of 1 uGi / g B. W. of 3H-thymidine into the peritoneal cavity
of the chicks at 8 : 00 AM 3 chicks were sacrificed every hour for 20 hours and their
esophagus, gizzard and duodenum were fixed in Bouin's solution, and processed for
autoradiograph.
The total percentage of labeled cells, together with labeled mitotic figures which
developed after labeling determined the average values for generation time and its four
phases: that is, DNA synthetic phase, postsynthetic phase, and presynthetic phase.
Labeling index and mitotic index were also obtained.
These data indicated that there are certain definite relationships between the cell
cycles of esophageal, gastric and duodenal epithelial cell of 1 day postnatal chicks.
The relationships and their validity were discussed.
