Then all subjects were divided into 4 clinical subtypes and comparison was made among these types. The tendency of findings of post-treatment, in general, comparing with those of pre-treatment of schizophrenia, obtained from Rorschach test were as follows.
1. R 1 , Failure 1
2. W1, DI, Ddl, S(-)
3.M (low and no change), F+ l , C & Special C 1 , FC4. H & A i , P 1 , Sex 1 , Content Range (no change)
5. Erlebnistypus (Experience Balance) (no definite change)
6. Succession; Confused -Loose-Orderly-Rigid
7. Father and Mother Card T .
The characteristic findings of each subtype of schizophrenia, differing from general tendency of the results of schizophrenia obtained from Rorschach protocol in this study, were elicited as follows.
In hebephrenic type: W I , D I , S(+-?-)
In catatonic type: R I, Dd(-), F+ I (markedly), C & Special C(-), Sex(-), C. R. I I
n paranoid type: Rejection (+--), M I (slightly)and in acute episode type: M T , C & Special C(-), FC>CF+C, H I etc.
It might be said that these data as mentioned above might be useful and helpful as a supplementary criteria for diagnosis, course and prognosis of schizophrenia.
