Abstract
저자는 건강인 35예와 백혈구 증가증 환자 90예를 대상으로 하여 순환 혈액의 백혈구의 AP 활성을 관찰하고, 그 성격을 위에서 고안한 바에 의거하여 다음과 같이 요약한다.
1. 백혈구 증가증 환자들에 있어서는 백혈구의 AP 활성은 증가되었다.
2. 호중구 증가증을 수반하지 아니한 백혈구 증가증 환자에 있어서는 백혈구의 AP 활성은 증가되지 아니하였으며, 이것을 수반한 백혈구 증가증 환자에 있어서는 백혈구의 AP 활성은 증가하였다.
3. 호중구 증가증이 심한 환자이수록 백혈구 AP 활성이 더 강하였다.
In an attempt to elucidate the mechanism for the increase of alkaline phosphatase(abbreviated as AP) activities of leukocytes in the patients with leukocytosis, the author investigated AP activities of neutrophi es, with the Tomonaga´s naphthol AS-MX phosphate method, in 90 cases of the mate patients with leukocytosis and in 35 cases of the healthy adult males. The results of this study were discussed and were summarized as follows:
Leukocyte Ap activity increased remarkably in the patients with leukocytosis. The increase was found only in the patients with leukocytosis characterized by neutrophilia and it was almost parallel with the increase of circulating neutrophil count.
