Abstract


The author studied on Rorschach responses of 42 cases of operated patients who were admitted to Busan
National University Hospital, pre-and post-operatively, in 1974 and summarized as follows.
The results of Rorschach responses obtained from post-operation comparing with pre-operation are:
1. No differences were observed in R and F%.
2. It showed increasing tendency in D% and A% in general.
3. It showed decreasing tendency in Rej. , M and C. R. in general.
4. It was observed the tendency to normalize to mean values in T/Rl, FC:CF+C, FC+CF+C:Fc+c+C¢¥ and ¥·+¥¸+¥¹ ¥·+¥¸+¥¹/R%.
5. FM and FM+m were predominant in ratio of FM: M and Fc+c+C¢¥ :FM+m respectively.
6. Decrease in W%; increase in D% and P were observed in male cases comparing with female ones,
7. The characteristic changes were increase in A% and P in urological cases and opposite results were obtained in obstetrics-gynecological ones.
8. Decrease in At% and P were seen in the patient who had major operations and opposite results were obtained in the patient who had minor operations.
9. Increase in At%; decrease in A% and P were observed in the patient with complaints, and opposite results were obtained in the patient without complaints after operations.
10. No marked differences were elicited between general and spinal anesthesia.
