Abstract
외국의 보고에 의하면 소아의 자살은 일반적으로 알려지고 있는 것보다 드물지 않다고 한다. 그러나 우리나라에서는 소아 자살 완수례의 보고가 아직까지 발표된 바가 없는 실정이다.
저자는 이번에 12세 소년이 1976년 7월 16일 부산에 자기집 공부방에서 넥타이로써 목졸아 매기로 자살완수를 한 증례를 경험하여 여기에 보고하였다. 아버지는 외항선원으로서 2년 계약으로 항해중이었고, 어머니는 원인불명의 신병으로 장기간 앓아오고 있었으며, 3형제 가운데 장남인 그는 어머니 돈을 훔친 데 대한 죄책감과 수치감으로 순간적으로 자살을 실행 완수하였다.
Suicides in. children and adolescents are nct as rare as in popularly believed by reports from foreign countries. But few case of suicide in childhood was reported in Korea until present time.
Author has experienced a case of completed suicide in childhood, who is a twelve years old boy by han ging with father´s neck-tie at the studying room of his house on July 16th, 1976.
Father of the boy has been absent from home for considerable period of time as oversea sailor and mother of the boy has been afflicted with unknown physical illness for a long time. The boy is ordinal in sibling rank and has a young brother and a young sister.
The boy had stolen money from mother´s cabinet, and then one week later, completed suicide occured momentarily, probably due to lack of parental love and feelings of guilt and shame.
