Abstract
Author studied sperm immobilization tests en 68 wcmen with unexplained infertility to detect antisperm antibody. Investigation was mostly made to correlate its value to each ABO blood group.
The results obtained were as follows:
1. Mean sperm immobilization value on women with primary infertility was 1.67 and on whom with secondary infertility was 1. 39 while that of control was 1.
2. Sperm immobilization tests were positive in 23.53¡Æ0 of all performed on these infertile women.
3. Mean sperm immobilization value to the donor semen of the same blood group was significantly lower than that to the donor semen of the different blood group.
4. The percentage of positive sperm immobilization tests was highest among 0 group infertile women and then comes B, A, and AB in order.
5. The sperm immobilization values were getting higher as the age increases.
6. The longer the duration of infertility was, the higher the sperm immobilization value was.
7. The women with earlier age of first coitus tend to have higher sperm immobilization value.
