Abstract
1977년과 1977년의 8월과 9월에 경상남도 진주시 남강유역에서 간흡충의 감염 양상의 추이를 알아 보기 위해 역학적 조사를 시행하였다.
이번 연구에서는 수질의 물리 및 화학적 검사, 쇠우렁과 담수어의 서식도 및 주민의 간흡충 감염율을 조사하였다.
1977년의 주민의 간흡충 감염율과 1977년의 그 율과의 사이에는 아무런 변화를 찾아 볼 수 없었으나 쇠우렁과 담수어의 서식도는 심히 떨어져 있었다.
강에서 쇠우렁은 거의 찾아 볼 수 없고 담수어의 서식도는 심히 낮으며 이들 숙주에서 간흡충 유충의 기생율이 낮은 점과 농약을 논에 널리 사용하고 있는 점등으로 비추어 보아 남강의 간흡충 침윤지로서의 환경조건은 파괴되고 있는것 같았다.
An epidemiologic survey of Clonorchis sinensis was carried out in August and September, 1976 and in the same period in 1977, in the vicinity of river Nam, Chinju city, Kyungnam Province.
The surveys were consisted of the physical and chemical examinations of the water, the densities of Parafossarulus snail and fresh-water fish, and the prevalence of liver fluke among the residents.
A comparison of the prevalence of Clonorchis sinensis among the residents in 1976 showed a constant value with the data in 1977. However, a significant decrease in the density of snails and fresh-water fish was encountered.
Because of the scanty of Parafossarulus snail and fresh-water fish in the river, reduction in the demonstration of Clonorchis larvae from these hosts, and the wide-use of pesticides in the farms, it is likely that the environmental condition for the endemic foci of Clonorchis sinensis in the river Nam was ruined.
