Abstract
1976년 1월부터 1977년 9월사이에 부산대학교 의과대학 산부인과 외래에 내원하여 자궁암세포 검사를 받은 부인, 1,025명과 부산 및 경남 일원에 이동검진차에 의한 집단검진을 받은 부인 1,980명 계 3,005명에게서 얻은 성적을 아래와 같이 요약할 수 있었다.
총 3,005명의 세포진 분류는 class Ⅰ에서 class Ⅴ까지 각각 2,415명(80.3%), 550명(18.3%), 27명(0.9%), 8명(0.3%), 5명(0.2%)이었으며, 음성(Ⅰ과Ⅱ)이 2,965명(98.6%), 의증(Ⅲ)이 27명(0.9%), 양성(Ⅳ과
This study was made on 3, 005 women wto voluntarily visited to have the :creeping test for cancer of the uterine cervix, Papanicolaou smear, to the rrobile as well as statioeary unit provided by the Busan National University Hospital from January, 1976 to September, 1977.
The cytolog=cal analysis was made as Papanicolaou´s classification and the results obtained were summarized as follows:
Among the 3, 005 women observed there were 2, 415 cases or 80.3% of class 1, 550 or 18. 3% of class If, 27 or 0.9% of class 1, 8 or 0.3% of class 1V, and 5 or 0.2% of class V respectively.
The age group between 55-59 showed the highest rate of suspicious and positive smear.
Among the women married before age of 16, 3.9% showed suspicious or positive smear.
The lower the marital age and the parity were, the higher the rate of positive smear.
Age at menarche did not show any influence to the positive rate.
Women living in suburb area had higher rate than those living in rural or urban district.
The diagnostic accuracy of Papanicolaou smear was 31.8% in class 1, 85.7% in class A´, and 100% in class V.
The main clinical symptoms among suspicious and positive group were abnormal vaginal discharge, bleeding and pain in order.
Gross appearance of the uterine cervix of the suspicious and positive group were cervical erosion, normal cervix, and gross cancer in order.
