Abstract

1) At higher voltage, the metabolism of Brevibacterium flavum producing glutamic acid was inhibited, consumption of glucose and production of glutamic acid was decreased.
2) At the cathod culture, the production of glutamic acid was increased more than those at the anode culture and at the cathod-anode culture.
3) In case of biotin rich, the production of glutamic acid was affected by the charged electricity.
4) The charged electricity showed some effect on metabolism and physiology of microorganism.
