Abstract
Effects of air pollutants on vegetation were reviewed and discussed with special reference to sulfur dioxide. Main contents were on the sources, meteorological factors, injury symptoms, relative sensitivity, growth/yield, indicator/diagnosis, combined effects, injury mechanism and effects on plant metabolism, iniury diminishing measures, and future research needs.
