Abstract

Typical lipomas were defined by benign, circumscribed, subcutaneous mass of an adult type of fat
tissue. They occur in many regions, especially on the back or shoulder, and may become larfe in size
and multiple in numbers. In some cases, the tumor masses may infiltrate between the muscle fibers
and show a connetion with nerves.
Recently the author studied a case of lipoma that infiltrated intercostal muscle of the ritht chest
wall. And report this case and discuss this unusual variant of the benign lipoma.
