Abstract
This experiment was carried out to know the distribution of Hg and Cd in rice.
The Samples were collected at S market in Seoul following at random from August 1 to 30 in 1971, which three samples were harvested in Kimpo area in 1970 and ten were imported in 1971.
The results were obtained as follows;
1) The Hg and Cd content in the Kimpo rice were (? 0.035 ppm and 0.02?0.045 ppm
2) And the imported rice was contained (-) -x0.96 ppm of Hg and trace-x-0.12 ppm of Cd.
