Urethane ثʫ 㿡 5-hydroxytryptamino(5-HT)(Ү) Norepinephrine(Ү) ̿ 2 ϴ £ Chlorpromazine(CPZ) Ͽ.
1) ʫ 뿡 CPZ Ү 5-HT ˭Ǿ ˽ ᴵǿ.
2) ʫͿ Ү CPZ(Img) 5-HT ˭ǿ,
3) ʫͿ Norepinephrine (1/kg) ߾ 2 ︦ ҭġ Ͽ Ү CPZ(1mg) ߾ Ǵ ޽Ŵ Ҵ.

In the urethane-anesthetized rabbit and rabbit and rat, small doses of intravenous CPZ (rabbit:2-5mg/kg; rat: 1 mg/kg) could potentiate the reflexive bradycardia induced by 5-HT but reduced the blood pressure response.
Small doses of intraventricular CPZ(1mg)could also potentiate the reflexive bradycardia induced by 5-HT.
The small rise of the blood pressure of the rabbit by NE, which did not accompany any cardiac slowing, caused cardiac slowing or irregularities following the intraventricular administration of the small dose of CPZ. The magnitude of the blood pressure rise was little affected by this dose of CPZ.
The cord-sectioined rabbit reacted to 5-HT with the reflexive bradycardia, which was enhanced following the intraventricular CPZ, and abolished by bilateral vagotomy or atropinzatlon
Intravelltricular reserpille in the rabbit prompted the appearance of the potentiating effect of CPZ on the reflexive 5-HT brady-cardia, alld intravenous reserpine in the ratmarkdlf potentia:ed tile 5_HT bradycardia.
CPZ seems to have a property sensitizing the vagal cardioinhibitory center to the reflexive stimulatioil by 5-HT or NE pressor effect.
