Abstract


A method for rapid starch gel electrophoresis of lactic dehydrogenase is described. A 1.5 to 2.0 mm thick starch-gel layer iss pressed onto a supporting sheet of Vinyl stuff by a simple technique. After electrophoresis the gel is plasticized and scanned with densitometer with Vinyl sheet attached.
By this method of electrophoresis, rabbit tissue lactic dehydrogenases were separated sharply in less than 3 hours.
