The clinical manifestation of the temporal lobe abscess in Case 1 had, no significant focal sings while very interesting was the symptoms in Case 11, where the homolateral hemiplegia(spastic paralysis) and paraphasia were present.
The radical mastoidectomy and the evacuation of the abscess through the mastoid´ cavity brought about the uneventful recovery in Case I with no sequelae for one year postoperatively, while the Case 11 healed with slight motor disturbance of homolateral extremities 6 months after the operation.
