Abstract
The local application of low concentration(10-20㎍/ml) of aconitine markedly speeded up the ciliary movement of frog-esophagus.
Accelerating effect of aconitine on the ciliary movement was abolished by the Pretreatment with teracaine(100㎍/ml) which could in itself inhibit the ciliary movment.
In contrast to aconitine, action of acetlcholine(50-100㎍/ml) which could speed up ciliary movement was not affected by the pretreatment with tetracaine.
Eserine(100㎍/ml) could not potentiate the aconitine acceleration but the acetylcholine acceleration.
