Abstract
In order to grasp the public health nurse´s working pattern and thinking in Chonnann Province, the study has been conducted by the method of collecteng answers to the questions which were sent to 25 public health centers and 52 public healthe nurses during Mar. 1, 1963 to June 15, 1963. In addition, the author has visited selected health centers for this study in this period.
The noticeable facts among the results collected are;
1. Public health nurses spent the most of time to do In-health center scrvices(77%), so that the preventive nursing services were almost neglected. This result is, presumably, contributed by the facts of insufficient allocation of health budget, unreason-able rrangement of health center, and the lack of understanding and interest of wor-
kers in health centers to public health services.
2. On the other hand, public health nurses required to form their own meeting body to learn and discuss how to solve problems in public health nursing field.
