Abstract


The biochemical role of trace elements in animal and plant tissues has been noticed since recent year. The author has determinded the trace amount of Mn in rice from various origin quantitatively by means of neutron activation analysis. It was found that the content of Mn in rice is remarkably vary with its origin, i.e. highest in domestic short grain and lowest in Viet Namese long grain.
