Abstract
A case of apocrine gland carcinoma observed in a male breast is reported in view of the rarity of its kind.
The patient was a 48 year old Korean male, a farmer, who had been suffered from a gradually growing mass in his left breast for 4 years.
Physical examination revealed a well developed, poorly nourished man with pale
appearance. The affected breast was found to be ulcerated and indurated with an underlying mass about the size of a child fist. The axillary lymph nodes were moderately swollen, suggesting metastatic lesion there.
The mass was biopsied and histologically confirmed to be an apocrine gland carcinoma.
