Abstract


Normal electrocardiograms (ECG) of fifty adult mice ;were studied. Leads taken
were the standard limb leads, augumented unipolar limb leads. In ten animals the unpipo´ar precordial leads were recorded additionally. The total numbers of various leads were twelve altogether The summary of findings are as the following
1. The analysis of the amplitude, duration and other values of various wav are shown in Table 1, 2 and 3.
2. Although the interpretation of a separate T wave was at times difficult, the
separate T wave was always present. The notch on the R wave is taken as the evidence of the fusion of T wave with the R wave. The difficulty of the interpretation of T wave was caused by the fact that the short duration, low amplitude and peaked form of T wave was a general rule,
3. RS-T segment of which potential level was zero couldn´t be discernible.
4. The relative amplitude of Pwave was greater than in the ECG of human.
5. QRS complexes in the standard limb leads were generally Rs type. The QRS. complex was without any Q wave or with a Q wave of trace amplitude. The form of QRS complex varied with the leads recorded : aVR, aVL-QS type; aVF-R type; unipolar precordial lead-R type.
