Abstract


This study was conducted to investgated the effect of adrenalectomy on acceleration(-F-Gz)-induced decreased gastric acid secretion in rats. Forty one male rats were devided- into 18 ´normal rats and 23 adrenalectomized rats. After 24 hrs of fast with water add libitum, the pylorus was ligated. Rats were exposed to +6 Gz acceleration six times for 30mins(duration :30 seconds) and then transfer into the animal cages for 2.5hrs. At the of experiment, gastric juice were collected. The gastric mucosa was observed. The acceleration(-1-6Z) decreased the gastric juice volume and acid output. The decrease of the gastric acid secretion was abolished by adrenalectomy. The histologic finding of gastric mucosa was normal. It is inferred above´ results that an acceleration(-1-6Gz) decrease gastric acid secretion by adrenal gland.
